About ITEC

Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation Programme popularly known as "ITEC" was launched in 1964 as a bilateral progamme of assistance of the Government of India. Ever since its inception, training of thousands of nominees of ITEC Partner Countries have been the most successful cooperation programme and is highly appreciated by the recipient countries.

ITEC is the most important effort of the Indian Government's technical cooperation, not only because of its wide geographical coverage but also for different forms of technical cooperation in which it has assisted.

Following are pre-requisites for training in India:

i) Candidate should be between the age of 25 and 45.
ii) Candidate should possess working knowledge of English for English courses, and for other courses, candidate should possess good knowledge of English.
iii) Candidate should be of sound health.
