For the Kyrgyzstan professionals only Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) is India’s flagship programme to share its knowledge and skills with fellow developing countries in an effort to build capacity and develop human capital. Under ITEC Programme, short-term courses on various subjects such as Accounts, Audit, Banking, English Language, Entrepreneurship Development, Environment, Finance, Management, Mass Communication, Production Management, Remote Sensing, Renewable Energy, Quality Control, Rural Development, Rural Electrification, Small & Medium-sized Enterprises, Standardization, Technical Teachers Training, Telecommunication, Tool Designs, etc., are offered. The next ITEC year has already begun. New calendar of ITEC courses is available at <http://www.itec.mea.gov.in/?pdf3967?000>.] Only those working professionals between 25 and 45 years of age with knowledge of English language and not having used ITEC Scholarship earlier are eligible to apply. Applications are required to be filled in by the applicants themselves at the “Apply for ITEC course” link at the website <https://www.itecgoi.in/meaportal/registerApplicant>. They can choose their own login email ID and create their login password, which would be used by the system to keep them posted of the processing status. After a candidate applies for a course, should take a printout of the application and send it to the Embassy of India, Bishkek through the nominating ministry/organization. Selected candidates will be provided gratis visa, return airfare, airport pickup/drop in India, living allowance, accommodation and book allowance.
