ICCR SCHOLARSHIPS

Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) offers six slots to Kyrgyz nationals under General Cultural Scholarship Scheme (GCSS) for long-term courses every year.

Availability and details of the ICCR scholarships are notified to the Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the office of the Honourable President of the Kyrgyz Republic in the month of December/January. The application procedure is available at

Those who wish to apply for ICCR Scholarship may approach the Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the office of the Honourable President of the Kyrgyz Republic.

During the academic year 2014-15, following three Kyrgyz citizens have joined Indian Universities to pursue Master’s Degree:

1.	Ms. Shakhriza Kachieva	Osmania University, Hyderabad
2.	Ms. Gulmairam Maichinova	Osmania University, Hyderabad
3.	Ms. Aliia Jusupjanovna Dzheenbekova	Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi
