ITEC DAY CELEBRATION
06 MARCH 2014

ITEC Day (2013-2014) was celebrated on Thursday, 06 March 2014. A reception was hosted on this occasion at Ala-Too Restaurant, Bishkek. Mrs. BaktygulSagyndykovnaSulaimanova, Coordinator of the International Educational Programme in the office of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, was the Chief Guest. Invitees included ITEC Alumni, local dignitaries and media personnel. Around 150 people attended the reception.

Ambassador made a presentation on ITEC and the context in which ITEC Courses are taking place, highlighting latest development in Science & Technology and Innovation in India.

Cultural performances were presented by Kyrgyz troupes, who participated in the SurajKund Crafts Mela, and by an Indian student. A photo exhibition on Indian heritage was mounted in the hall of Ala-Too for the whole day.
