NOTICE FOR FOREIGN VISITORS CARRYING SATELLITE PHONES TO INDIA

It has been noticed that some foreigners are carrying satellite phones with them while coming to India on Tourist Visa. As per existing guidelines of the Government of India, carrying satellite phones by foreigners into India is banned. All the foreign visitors to India may kindly note this and follow the instructions/guidelines in this regard. They may face appropriate action by Government of India authorities, in case they are found carrying satellite phones.
