Celebration of First International Yoga Day on 21 June 2015

A) Celebrations in Bishkek

The Embassy of India, Bishkek in collaboration with UNDP, Kyrgyzstan is celebrating 1st International Day of Yoga on June 21, 2015 at 1100 hrs at Bishkek Park. The local instructors of Yoga will be from Shanti Yoga Centre, Sehaj Yoga Centre, Yoga Federation etc.

2. A lecture on Yoga will be organized between 1800-2100 hrs at National Library of the Kyrgyz Republic. The lecture will be delivered by Mr. Alexander Hakimov who is based in Almaty. He will visit Bishkek especially for this purpose.

3. Approximately 300 Indian students studying in medical college in Bishkek will exhibit Yoga exercises at 0900 hrs either at the stadium or in a sports hall on June 21, 2015.

4. In addition to the above three events planned for the day, the following fitness centres and Yoga expert will also celebrate the 1st International Day of Yoga in Bishkek.
