7th session of the India-Kyrgyzstan Inter Governmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific & Technological Cooperation

The 7th meeting of the India-Kyrgyzstan Inter Governmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific & Technological Cooperation took place in New Delhi on 16-17th March 2015. The Indian delegation was headed by Honorable Minister of State for Commerce and Industry of India Smt. Nirmala Sitaraman. The Kyrgyz delegation included representatives of various ministries and departments: Energy and Industry, Economic Development, Education, metrology and others and was headed by Minister of Energy and Industry K. Turdubaev. During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of industry, agriculture, transport, culture, tourism, education, and technical cooperation. The meeting was followed by signing of the Protocol and agreements, one for cooperation in the field of Textile by the Ministry of Textile and the other in the field of Energy by BHEL with the Ministry of Energy and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic. The Kyrgyz Minister of Energy and Industry also met with the honorable Minister of State for Textile Shri Santosh Gangwar.
